Alexey Chernikov, holder of the newly established Cluster professorship for Ultrafast Microscopy and Photonics, will give a physics colloquium on "Mobile optical excitations in low-dimensional structures" at Würzburg.

Sebastian Klembt, holder of the newly established Cluster professorship for Light-Matter Interaction and Topological Photonics, will give a physics colloquium on "Topological photonics and topological lasers with coupled vertical resonators" at Dresden.

The Quantum Alliance (QA) Community Networking Event brings together PhDs and PostDocs from the quantum research clusters and centers within the Quantum Alliance and offers the opportunity to (re-)connect with young scientists from all over Germany and get insights into the job market for PhDs and Postdocs.

We will meet in Erfurt directly after the second QMA retreat and learn more about complexity and topology in quantum matter.

In Erfurt we will meet and talk about your projects.

The session is closely related to the cluster's activities, as it features talks by cluster representatives from Würzburg, Dresden and Haifa.

The conference, jointly organized by ct.qmat and the Dresden-based SFB 1143, will be held as a hybrid event.

The GHN-Colloquium talk series features the female scientists of the Grete-Hermann-Network (GHN) — a newly founded international network of female researchers in condensed matter physics and neighboring research areas to give a lecture on their research and current projects, as well as about their career paths.
