Summary
We are delighted to announce a TEP & ct.qmat sponsored Workshop on Scientific Writing by Miranda Vinay on 11th of April. Miranda, a Nature editor, will share her insights on Science writing for the public versus manuscript writing and Researcher discoverability, strategies for improvement, and its impact on your career. The Workshop will take place in-person at the Röntgen lecture hall in Würzburg. Participants from Dresden can join via Zoom – a link will be provided shortly.
As part of the workshop, there will be an interactive session where Miranda will provide feedback on your abstracts. If you wish to get first hand experience, please prepare one and refer to the following Style Guide. Handing in an abstract is not mandatory for participating in the workshop.
Abstracts send to ct.qmat@uni-wuerzburg.de by 8th of April will be fowarded to Miranda so that she can have a first look – please note that depending on the number of participants, not all abstracts can be discussed in the workshop.
Coffee, drinks, and snacks will be provided during the break and for the discussion.
